Head of Photography
“Death to Videodrome! Long live the new flesh!”
The Mayans prophesised a new world cycle would commence in 2012. And lo, they weren’t wrong, as that was the year Alex Kerr first furnished Spectrecom with his silky filmmaking skills and best-in-class sarcasm.
He joined Spectrecom following his graduation from the University of the Creative Arts and since then has risen spectacularly to the dizzying heights of Head of Photography, overseeing all our filmmakers and kit movement as well as stepping behind the camera now and then.
He’s enjoyed shooting films for big-brand clients including Guinness, BMW and Ford and most recently has produced work for Macmillan Cancer Care, Allianz Grassroots, PreistmanGoode, Wildstone and the University of Hertfordshire Racing team.
Outside work, Alex can usually be found watching films. Lots and lots of films.
“I am lucky to work with such a close-knit team of friendly and creative people.”
