For plenty of us, January means swapping slap-up feeds for salad, and stirring those lumbering limbs into action. Innovative tech firm SmartLife has developed a new, more intelligent approach to fitness, and Spectrecom Films recently produced a film all about it.

SmartLife’s innovation is a piece of wearable tech that provides real-world body data. This data is transmitted to the garment’s BRAIN, which then uses Bluetooth technology to communicate it to the wearer’s smart device.

Working with top communications agency Speed, we were asked to create a short film showing what SmartLife can do.

The film we produced can be seen at the top of this blogpost. It was directed by Matt Farman and produced by Arthur Briggs, and it makes use of plexus graphics and time compression filming – the latter allowing for doubling of our actors.
