Last week saw the launch of the video we created for the Dogs Trust, supporting its #hotcarskilldogs campaign aimed at making people more aware of the dangers of leaving their dogs in parked cars.

Shot here at Waterloo Film Studios and produced in conjunction with creative agency Beige, the video presents an ice sculpture of a dog gradually melting inside a car, and it’s already picked up plenty of coverage.

Let’s start with YouTube, where it’s already grabbed just shy of 15,000 views – a very healthy return in only seven days.

The campaign has made the media’s ears prick up too, with the Daily Express, BuzzFeed and Belfast Telegraph amongst the outlets giving it some column inches.

And it’s attracted support from celebrity tweeters, with Jodie Marsh and Johnny Vegas bringing it to the attention of their combined 716,000 Twitter followers.

If you haven’t seen the video yet, check it out below.

Spectrecom Films regularly creates video content for some of the best-known charities in the UK, including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Shelter, the RSPCA and the National Trust.
