Prices and Booking Confirmation
Upon request of the studio hire, we will send a Booking Confirmation form for you to complete and return. A deposit of 50% is required to book the studio. The remainder of the fee, including charges for additional services, should be settled by the client on or before the last day of the studio hire. All prices quoted exclusive of VAT, charged at 17.5%.

Studio Time and Overtime
The booking is for 10 hours, ie. 8am - 6pm, unless arranged otherwise. Overtime for the studio is charged at £50 per hour.

Sound Recordings
The Spectrecom Studio is not a sound stage and there are other businesses located within the building. In practice, clients do record good sound here, but the possibility of interruption (for which Spectrecom cannot be held responsible for) should be taken into account when planning a shoot. Other businesses within Faircharm are considerate, and with three 'On Air' lights being positioned both inside and outside the unit, you are able to let others know exactly when you are filming.

Music Shoots
If you are considering booking the studio for a music video, please be aware that, in consideration of our business neighbours, we cannot allow you to play loud instruments (ie. electric guitars, percussion). Similarly, we will only use our own CD stereo system for your playback.

Electricity usage
Electricity is charged at 35p per Kw. All of Spectrecom's energy is supplied by Ecotricity on the 100% green tariff. Energy on this tariff is from renewable sources.

Facilities
The client is responsible for clearing and cleaning the studio and facilities on completion of the shoot. Failure to do so will result in an additional £50 being charged.

Waste Disposal
As well as a bin in the kitchen, we also supply recycling bins within the studio, for disposal of bottles, cans and paper. Further to this, a large blue waste disposal unit is also available to the rear of the building. We ask the client not to dispose of rubbish in bins owned by other companies located within the estate, as this may result in a large fine.
