 | Andrew Greener
Managing Director
Andrew was a commercial executive selling for GEC Plessey Telecommunications until he went to university in Bristol in 1995 to study for a future in film and television. He set up Spectrecom as a small private concern to make corporate videos for organisations and business, and the income from these activities helped to fund Sixty Thousand (1998), his final film as a student. Sequences from that film, a docudrama about the Battle of the Somme, were sold for use in two television programmes (Breathless Hush, 1999, and Man & Beast, 2000). Andrew’s set design on the film also led to art directing work and in that capacity he has since notched up over 20 credits on ITV drama, short films and commercials.
Andrew has continued to direct, working on documentaries with dramatic re-constructions for HTV and LWT, and he is aiming towards television drama and feature film production. To that end he has been honing his screenwriting skills, undertaking courses with HTV and Raindance to culminate in writing and directing the short film Endgame (2005) (Winner TCM Classic Shorts Competition 2005). This work has gone hand in hand with Andrew’s commitment to corporate film production. He is the driving force behind Spectrecom Films, forming the limited company in 2005 with a vision to create a strong and highly creative new production base.

 | Sarah Aynesworth
Director of Production
Sarah brings a 'can-do' adventurous approach to her work. This paid early dividends when, during her time at university, she was selected as the on-board camera operator to document the Cable & Wireless Adventure in 1998 for ITV and SKY Sports. Sarah has filmed in locations all around the world and gained much experience of working in difficult and emotional situations
while filming with the Fell and Cave Rescue and the Fire Service. She holds
fourteen world records for sailing, including fastest ever time around the
world by power boat.
Sarah produced the short film Endgame (2004) and managed to secure £30,000 of funding for the production. She also oversaw the various training schemes run in Northern Ireland to help fund the film and which saw 7 trainees move on into paid film work. Following on from that, Sarah is now responsible for developing Spectrecom’s highly successful training programme.
She also works in production roles on corporate video programmes and
commercials, as well as high profile TV and film drama projects such as The
Bench, Calendar Girls and The Real Emmerdale - 2006 winner of a Royal
Television Society (RTS) Award.

 | | | Steven Milton
Creative Director
Steve left university with highly developed professional sound recording and mixing skills. He began work in sound dubbing at Partridge Films in Bristol. Here, Steve found an outlet for another of his passions, music, and he composed and orchestrated a number of pieces that were used in his programmes. After a year he moved to London where he joined LWT’s The Lab, the maker of LWT’s regional television programmes. The Lab is renowned for its mission to identify, develop and nurture new talent in the industry, and in just 4 years Steve rose from sound post-production, through editing and camera to production roles, going on to produce and direct series like Artworks and London’s Scariest Mysteries. Occasionally he was seconded to the Lab’s commercial department, Adlab where he produced and directed a series of ‘bumper idents’ for Sea France and composed a series of musical ‘stings’ for Learn Direct.
Steve left the Lab at the end of 2003 and worked in freelance production roles for September Films, Endemol, and Granada. Steve is now responsible for Spectrecom’s creative brief and he is currently developing a raft of documentary ideas for television production.
