Steve has considerable experience as a filmmaker having amassed 16 years in the industry. For 4 years he worked as a Producer / Director for London Weekend Television, and then later as a freelance Producer Director for Endemol and September Films. Steve’s TV credits for LWT covered factual and entertainment programming including Dinner Dates, Street Crime UK, ArtWorks, London’s Scariest Mysteries and The Real A&E.
As one of our founding directors, Steve helped to build Spectrecom up into the company it is today. He’s passionate about the business but he still considers himself to be a story-teller first and foremost and enjoys crafting highly polished films which are brave, bold and engaging. Aside from some of Spectrecom’s mainstream projects, Steve has devoted himself to films for some leading UK charities like The Children’s Trust, Choice Support, RSPCA, the National Osteoporosis Society, and Macmillan Cancer Support. In the last year Steve’s film work for charities earned him both an IVCA (Gold) Award and the coveted Clarion (Gold) Award.
In his spare time Steve enjoys playing the piano and occasionally singing along (much to the distress of his family)!
