What was the brief?
London brand and communication agency Fever PR approached us back in February requiring a series of vines promoting Sky’s new internet TV service, Now TV.
The 6-second looping videos needed to showcase the channel’s sport and entertainment TV offerings in a fun, visual way that would capture a bit of Now TV magic.
How did we approach the brief?
Spectrecom was asked to come up with a series of highly sharable creative concepts that would feature some of Sky’s leading characters: hapless football pundit Chris Kamara and stars of reality series ‘Geordie Shore’, Marnie, Gaz and Scotty T.
We shot Chris against green screen to create the illusion that he was mid-report on a NOW TV viewer’s television. The idea was that the ball would suddenly fly over Chris’ head, through the screen and would knock the remote from the Now TV viewer’s hand, much to Chris’ amusement.
In the case of Georgie Shore, we custom built a club set in our studios and captured Marnie’s pursuit of someone or something to ‘tash on’ with.
Taking full advantage of our in-house production team, crew, studios and editors, this project really was an end-to-end Spectrecom production and we’re delighted with the results.
Behind the Scenes
We also shot a Behind the Scenes film for the Geordie Shore gang, which you can watch on the playlist of completed films to the left.
Spectrecom has delivered two highly sharable vines that promote the magic of Now TV. Fever PR is extremely happy with the videos and the fast turnaround and we look forward to working with them again in future.
