3) Websites and Forums
Even if you're a confident user in Final Cut Pro, you might occasionally find yourself stuck with a problem that just won't go away; it might even be as simple as wanting to know what the easiest way is to perform a particular task. One way to get a quick answer is to visit a popular forum, where users are more than willing to share their knowledge with you. Creative Cow is a great place to start, as well as Apple's own discussion threads.
Further to that there are many other post production news sites/blogs that have regular videos, in various areas, that can be accessed for free. DVCreators.net and Provideocoalition.com are worth visiting, and can direct you in the way of many other communities who are willing to share their tips and advice with you.
Finally it's worth glancing over a few of the beginners videos on Apple's main site, which include some great case studies on the software in action within the industry.

As such, it's a much more expensive way of learning, and might only be considered by professionals. London based Soho Editors offer courses such as these, though you should be able to find a number of companies offering these Apple certified courses in a number of places. It should certainly fastrack you towards knowing the ins and outs of the software, but many people will be turned off by the price if they are wanting to edit more as a hobby rather than a career.
