West Kent has twice previously called on the video production wizardry of Spectrecom, to create its Customer Services Training film and also the IVCA Award-winning West Kent Lifeways.

And that two has just become three, with Spectrecom and West Kent teaming on a new project, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of West Kent Extra, the community development charity arm of West Kent.

West Kent Extra operates in a number of different ways, doing vital work in terms of social enterprise and training & employment. As such, the 10-year film brought together an eclectic cast of contributors – from Will Campbell-Wroe, the charity’s Managing Director, to Liam Plowman, one of its young apprentices – to tell a whole host of those stories.

With Will providing the anchoring presence that ties all the narrative threads together, the completed film was screened at a special event to mark West Kent Extra’s first decade.

‘10 Years. One West Kent Extra’ was directed by Richard Butterworth, produced by Rob Jowers, and the talented team who crewed the five shoot days were James Adair, Kieran Hodges and Arthur Briggs.

Here at Spectrecom, we’ve lent our video production expertise to projects for many different charity clients, including Children in Need, The Children’s Trust and Heart n Soul. To find out more about our 15% charity discount and to see more of our work, take a look at our charities page.
