Spectrecom Films’ central London location means we’re ideally placed to carry out video production work on behalf of the capital’s many legal and financial organisations. One of our regular clients is leading law firm Withersworldwide, who we’ve recently produced a new series of videos for.

With a heritage stretching back over 100 years, Withersworldwide is a prestigious name in the field of legal practice. Many of its clients are wealthy and high-profile, meaning that media and reputation management is an area where it needs to show it’s ahead of the game.

As such, Withers has its own dedicated Media & Reputation team, led by Amber Melville-Brown. And we welcomed the team down to Waterloo Film Studios a few months ago to shoot a seven-part series of videos covering a whole host of reputation-related topics.

Good preproduction planning by director Peter Ford and producer Rob Jowers, allied to the fact we own our own studios, meant we were able to maximise the shooting time available, allowing us to complete all the scenes with Amber and her colleagues Rupert and Caroline inside a single day.

The films were enhanced by a series of separately shot cutaways, illustrating topics including blackmail and how to handle an unexpected call from a journalist. Several Spectrecom team members gamely stepped before the cameras to bring these scenes to life.

The series kicks off with an introduction to the Withersworldwide Media & Reputation Team…

Then there’s ‘How to handle a media enquiry’…

‘How to deal with a blackmail threat’

‘How to handle harassment’…

‘How to protect yourself online’…

‘How to use social media safely’…

And lastly, ‘How to keep confidential information confidential’…
