We’ve recently been working with SOAS on a brand new video which captures the qualities that make it such a vibrant, wonderful and unique university.
Based right in the heart of central London, SOAS is a truly international place of learning. It delivers specialist courses in a wide range of areas with particular focus on Asia, Africa and the Middle East, and its student body is made up of no fewer than 133 different nationalities.
This diversity was one of the main things we wanted to convey via the new video we’ve produced on behalf of the university – and we hope you’ll agree that’s precisely what we’ve succeeded in doing.
The video is entitled ‘Meet the World at SOAS’, and it takes a bold, imaginative and contemporary approach to its subject matter. Key to achieving this was our use of the MoVI camera rig for the 360-shots of the students, as well as our Waterloo film studios providing the perfect space to shoot the paint-throwing sequences.
The video has only just been launched online, but we’ve already received fantastic feedback from SOAS director of marketing Jamie Wells: “I’d just like to thank everyone involved for all the hard work, perseverance and sheer genius that has gone into making this film – everyone is chuffed with the end product. In fact, in my two years at SOAS, I can’t think of anything that has been so universally liked!”
