A novel bit of higher education video marketing from the University of Alberta, as a Barney-spoofing dinosaur arrives to dispel some myths about his fearsome brethren.

The University of Alberta is offering a course called Dino 101, a free online resource which lets participants get to grips with the noble art of paleobiology.

And to promote Dino 101, the University has produced a series of online videos starring a friendly dinosaur in a primary colour kiddie world – much like that terror of Guantanamo Bay, Barney.
