Last week at Spectrecom saw us having our cake and, indeed, eating it for one of our most treasured clients, Macmillan Cancer Care and their annual ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’.
We were all assigned a dish to make, with bakes ranging from fairy cakes to samosas, lemon drizzle to pizza and on Friday morning, we all gathered in Waterloo Film Studios to devour a veritable feast of baked goods!
The morning was a huge success with the whole team putting in a sterling effort.
Bronze, silver and gold wooden spoons were awarded to those whose bakes were particularly impressive.
The ‘Good Effort’ wooden spoon was awarded to Chris K for his strawberry cheesecake.
The bronze spoon went to Pearl for her red velvet cake.
The silver spoon to Laylla for her samosas.
And the gold spoon was awarded to Arthur for a chocolate cake Mary Berry herself would have been proud of!
Most importantly we smashed our target and the money is still rolling in, so a massive well done to all who took part.
The whole event was filmed and we’ll be posting the video shortly. In the meantime, here are some photos to whet your appetite…!
