We’ve been responsible for searching documentary films previously (including our award-winner for West Kent). But the new series of videos produced by us for Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust & Surrey County Council  features some of the most powerful stories we’ve filmed to-date.

SABP & Surrey CC commissioned the videos in order to shine a light on the work done by Windmill House, a specialist unit in Chertsey which offers round-the-clock residential support and treatment for over-18s seeking help with addictions to drugs or alcohol.

There are three videos in the series. One provides an overview of Windmill House itself, while the other two are documentary case studies with Matt and Rebekah, both of whom received treatment at Windmill House for their addiction issues.

‘Rebekah’s Story’ is a very powerful film, as she recounts how she’s come to turn her life around without in any way flinching from the major challenges she faced along the way.

‘Matt’s Story’ is a similarly honest account, as he recalls how he fell into addiction before finding the will to break his downward cycle.

And the third film is the ‘Windmill House Overview’, detailing the approach its staff take to those who pass through its doors.
