Spectrecom has been a long-time video production partner of the University of East London, and it’s a partnership that continues to flourish, as evinced by our shoot yesterday with UK athletics ace and UEL student Adam Gemili.

Having started his sporting life as a footballer, only switching to athletics relatively recently, Adam Gemili really exploded into the nation’s public consciousness this summer, as he became only the second Britain to run 200m in under 20 seconds.

With Adam also making his mark over the 100m distance, the 20-year-old is rapidly emerging as one of Britain’s brightest hopes for the 2016 Olympics in Rio, and all while continuing his studies at the University of East London too.

Spectrecom is collaborating with UEL on an exciting new film project, highlighting the University’s superb sporting credentials – meaning it was only natural that Adam should be involved.

And so it came to pass yesterday, when a Spectrecom crew consisting of James Adair, Arthur Briggs, Matt Farman and Kieran Hodges spent a day filming with the young sports star, as you can see from the photos below.
