The video production skills of Spectrecom have been called upon several times by the University of Bedfordshire in the last 12 months. Amongst the projects we’ve worked upon have been a cinema ad and a new official promotional film which has been seen nearly 15,000 times.
And it was that promotional film which brought Spectrecom staff and the Bedfordshire marketing team back together last Friday night, as they all convened at Sopwell House in St Albans to see if it could emerge triumphant from its category in the Thames and Chiltern CIPR Awards.
As it turned out, Bedfordshire proved to be one of the big winners on the night, as the University hoovered up Gold Awards in the following fields: Best Use of Social Media, Best External Publication and Best Use of Planning, Research, Measurement and Evaluation.
But what of the film we produced on Bedfordshire’s behalf?
Happily, it was a winner too, claiming Silver in the Best Use of Digital category. It was a win toasted long and toasted hard by our representatives at the event, Christiaan Harden, Peter Ford and James Adair… right up until 10.30 when they had to go catch the train home.
Here’s the film…
