Spectrecom is a video production octopus with its own creative tentacle. But aside from fashioning concepts for our clients, we also work extremely closely with major agencies, lending our video production expertise to their projects.
Perhaps foremost amongst those agency clients is Synergy, a frontrunner in the fast-moving field of corporate sponsorship.
Over the course of Spectrecom and Synergy’s two-year relationship, we’ve collaborated on a whopping great range and number of campaigns, including London 2012 promos on behalf of BMW, Commonwealth Games content for SSE, Ryder Cup videos in the name of Standard Life Investments, and much, much more besides.
Why, just a few days ago we were blogging about one of our latest link-ups with Synergy: the Guinness Surge Bar teaser starring ex-England rugby ace Lewis Moody.
However, recently we were entrusted by Synergy to create a special animated showreel not on behalf of one of its clients, but for the agency itself.
That sleek and succinct showreel, entitled Innovators in Sponsorship, covers Synergy’s history all the way from the firm’s inception in 1984 right up to the present day.
Along the way a whole host of marketing coups are ticked off, including the Coca-Cola colour change, the Guinness Honesty Bar, Betfair Bumvertising, and the golden BMWs (a project filmed by Spectrecom).
The reel has gone down a storm with the folks at Synergy. Here’s what Marketing Manager Oli Richards had to say about it: “The showreel has been the first thing we’ve put out publicly with the new brand positioning and the feedback has been very positive.”
“Huge credit to the Spectrecom team for really understanding the brief and delivering such a polished animation that really captures what Synergy is all about.”
Take a look for yourself.
