For 35 years now, McCarthy & Stone have been building privately-owned retirement apartments all across the length and breadth of these perpetually rain-tickled isles of ours.
Lying north of the border is one of its newest developments, Merrilees Gate, situated in Juniper Green, a peaceful and picturesque village just six miles from the centre of Edinburgh.
And with Merrilees Gate due to welcome its first homeowners later this year, McCarthy & Stone has teamed up with Spectrecom to create a brand new video production which showcases the development, by combining pre-existing animated footage with seductive shots of such Edinburgh sights as the castle, Calton Hill, Holyrood, and more – all captured using our newly-acquired Canon C300 camera.
To give credit where credit is due, the Spectre-squad on this assignment were Andrew Greener (director), Steve Milton (director of photography), Florence Hill (producer), Matt Farman (editor), Matt O’Brien (editor), and Paul Martin (that’s me – scriptwriter).
