The EVCOM Clarion Awards offer important recognition for any marketing campaigns with charity and CSR at their heart. Spectrecom Films has been a winner at the Clarions in the past, and we’ve just been nominated in two categories at the 2014 awards.
The two Clarions categories we’re nominated in this year are Strategic Communications and Innovation, for films we produced for Macmillan Cancer Support and Marie Curie Cancer Care respectively.
The Macmillan film, ‘Do You Care?’, was produced to drive support for the charity’s campaign to secure amendment to the Care Bill as it passed through parliament. The film has already picked up one major prize this year, securing Gold in the Laurus Award category at the IVCAs.
It’s not just a sole Marie Curie film we’ve been nominated for but rather a five-part series. The series was produced in the run-up to Marie Curie’s annual Great Daffodil Appeal, and took a creatively innovative approach to dispensing useful advice to prospective GDA collectors.
The Clarion Awards ceremony takes place on Friday 26 September, so we’ll be sure to let you know then how we get on.
