Here at Spectrecom we feel strongly about helping causes which may benefit from video production. Though commercial work in the charity sector is indeed an important staple of our brand, we also believe in doing things gratis given that the appropriate time and resources are available.

One such cause was that of Orphan Trust. The Orphan Trust seeks to assist the most underprivileged, marginalised and vulnerable members of Bangladeshi society. They aim to help and educate orphaned and homeless children in Bangladesh, one of the poorest countries in the world, and they have now benefited from a promotional film which will be showcased at their sold-out charity auction tonight at Papadom’s Restaurant on Brick Lane.

One of the founding members of Spectrecom, Steve Milton was approached by Mina Morris, the charity’s founder, to create this powerful film in his spare time, and the effects are thoroughly moving. It will undoubtedly have a profound impact at its premiere tonight, and we at Spectrecom wish the charity all the best in the future.
