Spectrecom recently produced our first video for Macmillan Cancer Support, in service of the charity’s current campaign urging members of the public to email their MP and press for greater support for cancer carers.

That film featured three real-life couples affected by cancer and, as part of the production, we also shot a brand new case study video starring one of those couples – Joe and Melita DeSouza.

Just launched online, that case study offers Joe’s perspective on caring for his wife following her diagnosis with cancer. Touching and heartfelt, it cannot fail to heighten awareness and empathy for the issues facing carers like Joe.

The Spectrecom team behind this emotional film are Steve Milton (director-editor), Peter Ford (camera operator), Florence Hill (producer), and Eduardo Vento and Arthur Briggs (sound / lighting). Thanks as well to the team at Macmillan, and of course to Joe and Melita too.

The video production services of Spectrecom have been called upon by a large roster of charity clients. Take a look at our charities page to find out more about some of the projects we’ve worked upon and our 15% charity discount.
