In 2017 we worked with one of our long-term and much-loved clients Macmillan Cancer Support to create a Direct Response TV Advert to increase the public’s awareness of their free will writing service. We’re so proud to hear that this advert is part of a campaign that will raise millions of pounds in the future for people living with cancer.

We are delighted to work with such an amazing charity and always try to do our bit for those in need – not only in the workplace but out of the office too. Last week, we took part in the annual Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning to raise life-changing funds to make sure people with cancer can continue to live life their way.

The Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning is the charity’s biggest fundraiser and last year it raised over £27 million. We know that it is so important to help support others in any way we can, so we took the time to raise funds for those in need.

As you can see, our team had a lot of fun taking part in the Spectrecom bake-off extravaganza, all competing for their delicacy to be best in the show. Each slice of the cakes and bakes were sold at £1, some were more popular than others, but all in all, Spectrecom raised £156.09 for the cause.

 

 

A major highlight of the event was the judging. Local celebrity Sally White a well known local caterer and baking expert was present to offer her expertise on all things sweet and chose the lovely Ben Gardner as the overall winner for best looking and tasting. Pearl Cotterell and Jill Casserley also received commendations for top tastiness and a good looking dessert.
