We’re regularly asked to produce student recruitment videos, but it’s far less often that we’re asked to create student recruitment videos for university campuses which are yet to open their doors.

Yet that’s just what we were asked to do on a recent project for Loughborough University in London – a project which yielded two brand new films.

Before we show you the first of those films, some explanation is warranted: Loughborough University in London (or LUiL for short) is the new London campus of Loughborough University, which is of course one of the UK’s top universities.

Located in Queen Elizabeth Park in Stratford, LUiL will be welcoming its first students from 2015 to study a range of postgraduate programmes covering business, design, sports management, digital technologies and more.

When Loughborough University in London contacted Spectrecom Films, it requested two new videos – an animation aimed at both domestic and international students and a high-impact montage film aimed squarely at the domestic market.

That second film involved shooting with a roster of highly successful Loughborough graduates at a range of locations including the Olympic Park, central London and at the existing campus in Loughborough.

Check out the finished film below. We’ll showcase the animation on the blog later this week. And if you want to know more about Loughborough University in London, visit www.lborolondon.ac.uk.
