The Matrix was released a long time ago, which may make the casting of Morpheus (Lawrence Fishbourne) in this new piece of video marketing a slightly bizarre choice.
It certainly makes a change from a random sporting personality or celebrity advertising the idea of luxury, and the concept of a luxury KIA car itself is such a strange prospect why not go for something off the wall?
The ad certainly involves all the usual comic troupes that lead to viral success and with nearly 3 million views, they have done pretty well. Although i’m sure the Superbowl helped too.
