With Vine rapidly beginning to make major waves in the world of social media, it wasn’t going to take long before video marketing agencies got a hold of the platform.
Fried dough and coffee institution Dunkin’ Donuts will be the first brand to use content from Vine as part of a television advert, debuting a targeted spot in the US during ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Football’ show.
With plans for more Vine based video advertising in the works DD could be looking at a serious boost in social engagement as viewers consistently watch TV with smartphone and tablet in hand, reacting in real time with what they are watching.
Not to be outdone Nissan and Virgin Mobile are reportedly also prepping Vine based television adverts. Is Vine about to take over YouTube as the advertisers choice for creative video makers?
