Back in March, Honey Maid released a brilliant piece of video marketing that despite garnering millions of views – annoyed a lot of people.

The video was entitled “This is Wholesome” and depicted a purposefully ‘alternative’ set of families enjoying their (wholesome) lives.

Obviously, the advert having been shown in the US as well as online meant that the message was going to attract some grief, and just as the views rolled in by their thousands, so did the negative comments.

Honey Maid didn’t just rest on their moral high ground though, they doubled down and released a response video that let people know that the positive message was actually more potent than the negative.
