Honda are well known as visionaries when it comes to video marketing and advertising creative. In-keeping with their previous track record, this latest piece is a true work of ‘high-performance’ art.

In 1989 Formula One legend Ayrton Senna set the world lap record on Japan’s Suzuka circuit. Naturally he was driving a Honda at the time. So in honour of that momentous occasion the car manufacturer have recreated the lap with an incredible light and sound show.

Thanks to the on-board telemetry, which was a Honda first in the 1980s, the data exists to recreate the lap in this incredible way. Its a great tribute to an amazing piece of technology as well as one of the greatest drivers the sport has ever seen.
