In order to celebrate the introduction of the Colombian league to the seminal video game, EA have created a rather unique piece of video marketing.
During the airing of the biggest game of the Colombian football league calendar the footage was switched between reality and the video game in order to show off the graphics of Fifa 14.
There was also a crack team of gamers on standby to help recreate the goals and action sequences from the game which were then played back to the viewers at home.
As graphics levels improve on the next generation consoles and the lines blur more between gaming and entertainment we can expect to see a lot more marketing stunts like this.
