Five years ago, Anglian Water began redefining the way it interacted with its customers. The positive path of that journey was recently recognised with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, and Spectrecom Films was enlisted to make a branded video celebrating that accolade.
Anglian Water’s fresh approach is unified under the banner of ‘Love Every Drop’. It expresses a drive to bring company and customer closer together, delivering new standards for a truly sustainable future in the process.
Queens Award for Enterprise
The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the UK’s highest accolade celebrating business success. And with it due to be given to Anglian Water Chief Executive Peter Simpson by the Lord Lieutenant on 24 September, a need was identified for an inspiring piece of new video content to play at this event.
The aim of the video was to contextualise the event itself, showcasing why Anglian Water was being given this prestigious award.
But at the same time, the video needed to say thank you to all the people, projects and communities who have helped make Love Every Drop such a success.
Working to a tight deadline, the Spectrecom team got to work, creating a piece of video content which mixes existing footage with brand new filming, captured across the area served by Anglian Water.
It was determined a creative device was needed to help tie the video together. In conjunction with the client, we developed an animated technique which portrayed the different years of the Love Every Drop journey and integrated them into the scene.
The video was screened at the Queen’s Award presentation, apparently to very positive feedback. It is now being used on Anglian Water’s YouTube channel, giving all its customers and staff the chance to see it.
