Who’s this cool customer? Yes, forget Man of Steel, forget Pacific Rim, and forget Hobbit 2: Hobbit Harder – for significant sections of the Spectrecom office, the movie to get REALLY excited about this summer is the Alan Partridge movie. And as luck would have it, a first trailer has just surfaced online.
Okay, let’s not mess about here; wrap your peepers around this first teaser trailer, then meet back here for a debrief. Er, a brief one.
It was back in 2007 that Steve Coogan first floated the possibility of an Alan Partridge movie centring on North Norfolk Digital’s most famous platter-spinner finding himself caught up in a terrorist siege, and that is exactly what you’re going to get, it would seem, when the movie opens on 7 August.
Before then, Coogan will next be seen in The Look of Love, directed by his 24 Hour Party People, Cock and Bull Story and The Trip collaborator Michael Winterbottom. Due out on 26 April, and based on the true story of ‘King of Soho’ Paul Raymond, some of the film was shot at our very own Spectrecom Studios. Fact!
