According to new figures from broadband service Sandvine if you’re watching web video in peak time in the US, chances are high that you’re on YouTube or Netflix.
The world’s favourite web video portal and the top online video rental service account for a combined 50% of views on work or home networks.
This trend is not at all surprising with Netflix accounting for about a third of all US web traffic and YouTube itself moving towards 20%.
