Ben graduated from Kingston University with a First Class honours degree in Media, Culture and Digital Communications and joined Spectrecom in 2005. His initial role was to research and project manage corporate productions as well as assisting in the post production where necessary. He soon developed a flair for editing and he has contributed to programmes for a large number of clients. Highlights have included a promotional film for Ideal Standard, training DVD’s for UNITE, and a drama series for Beat Bullying. Ben’s production skills also include graphics and DVD authoring.
In an additional role, Ben has helped to develop and oversee our website and its content. With a keen eye on emerging technologies, Ben will be helping to drive online content for both Spectrecom and our clients in the future. Ben also teaches editing for students attending Spectrecom's training programmes.
Away from work, Ben is a passionate fan of cinema and is currently working with his brother Jonny to produce a series of self-penned short horror films. To combat the darkness of the edit suite, Ben attends the gym regularly to pump iron. He’s also an accomplished lead guitar player, having both written music and played in bands.
